Top Lock Locksmiths & Security is a national service provider specializing in commercial locksmith, door, and integrated security solutions. Headquartered in the Northeast, the company delivers a wide range of services—including locksmithing, door installation and repair (manual, automatic, and overhead), access control, video surveillance, and intrusion systems—to commercial clients across a wide array of industries such as retail, healthcare, hospitality, rental car, and multi-site facility management. With a hybrid model that includes both self-performed work and a national vendor network, Top Lock services thousands of locations across the United States with a strong presence in NY, NJ, CT, RI, and MA.
Top Lock’s operational structure includes dedicated teams for National Accounts, Local Accounts, Project Management, and Vendor Management, all supported by a centralized back office handling dispatch, work order tracking, and billing.

The Challenge
As Top Lock grew, so did its need for a more scalable, transparent, and efficient field service management solution—leading to the decision to implement Salesforce Field Service (FSL). Prior to Salesforce, the team faced challenges with fragmented systems, limited visibility into field operations, and time-consuming manual coordination between departments and vendors. Top Lock experienced a failed Salesforce Sales Cloud implementation and were persuaded to implement Field Service. They considered leaving the Salesforce platform completely, but after interviewing multiple partners for this project, Summit gave them the confidence to move forward with scoping & eventual project implementation.
